Meldreth WI meet on the second Thursday of each month in the village hall at 7.30 pm.

We are not always 'Jam and Jerusalem', although we do help at times if asked to contribute at village functions.

We have a busy programme of events and apart from speakers, outings, keep fit, walking and a monthly sewing B our head office, The Cambridge Federation of Women's Institutes (CFWI), also arranges many outings and day school: Pen and Ink Day School, 'To God and The Bridge' (a tour of some of London sights and up to the top to see the workings of London Bridge), Lee Valley Olympic tour to name but a few. Closer to home there are lunches all with interesting speakers and all in different areas of the county and intermediate meetings arranged by our own committee.

Meldreth WI was formed in 1920.
